Fraud

UKPASS receives support from the UCAS Verification Unit, which was established in 1996. This unit is responsible for identifying fraud and is committed to ensuring that applications received are from genuine applicants wishing to secure a place in higher education.

If any UKPASS applicant is found to have provided false or misleading information, their application could be cancelled. In order to check if their application is complete and accurate, the Verification Unit may at any time ask the student, their referee or employer for more information to support information already provided.
