UKPASS is offering users and those interested in finding out more the chance to attend one of a series of free training and familiarisation days.
These are aimed at anyone who is responsible for postgraduate applications at their institution, regardless of whether or not they have decided to use UKPASS, and will give an overview of the working of the service from the point of view of both the institution and applicants.
The day starts with a brief presentation on the history of UKPASS: what it is and why it has been developed. The session outlines benefits for both your institution and your applicants and will also update you about any recent and planned changes to UKPASS.
Next you will be shown the setting-up process for new members of UKPASS and you can go through the steps yourself using a training environment. You will then work through a dummy application to see what information it contains. Having seen what information the applicant provides, you will then view that information in the format you will receive it and explore the various statistical reports and information reports available.
