UKPASS is a service provided and operated by The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS).

1.1 We have adopted this privacy policy as part of our commitment to protect your personal information (as defined in 4.1 of the Terms and Conditions).

1.2 We will not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. With your permission, we may send you information considered relevant to students, on behalf of carefully chosen, reputable and trustworthy third parties, for purposes outlined in 4.3 of the Terms and Conditions. We will follow the appropriate legal requirements to ensure that no third parties see your personal information save as set out in the Terms and Conditions.

1.3 If you do not wish your personal information to be used for marketing purposes by post you must ensure that you tick the box on the relevant page.

1.4 You will need to tick the appropriate boxes if you wish to receive such information by electronic means.

1.5 The website may contain links that make it easy for you to visit other websites. UKPASS does not have any control over these websites. Therefore, if you use these links to leave UKPASS and visit websites operated by third parties, UKPASS cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information that you provide whilst visiting these websites.

1.6 UKPASS may use cookies. A cookie is a small amount of data which is stored on your computer and which is revealed to UKPASS when you use this website. UKPASS uses cookies only to make it easier to identify you when using the website. UKPASS does not use cookies to collect additional information about you. You can configure your web browser not to accept cookies, although this may hinder the functionality of the website for you.

1.7 You may, at any time, withdraw your permission for UKPASS to use your personal information for the purposes of sending you information about products or services by writing to the Company Secretary, UCAS, Rosehill, New Barn Lane, Cheltenham, Glos GL52 3LZ. You may also write to our Company Secretary if you have any questions, or wish to have any of your personal information edited or deleted.

1.8 Under the Data Protection Act 1998 you may request UKPASS to provide you with details of personal information that UKPASS holds about you. If you want to make a request for this information you should write to our Company Secretary at the above address. There will be a fee of £10 payable. A cheque for this amount made payable to UCAS should be sent with your request for information.
