Research programmes

Research programmes involve in-depth study of a specific field, normally over a period of two or three years. You then report on your research by writing it up in the form of a thesis or dissertation. Most research programmes involve working closely with one or more experienced researchers who supervise your work.

You can find courses and research opportunities using UKPASS Course Search. For further information on research programmes, see www.prospects.ac.uk and the websites of universities and colleges you are interested in.
