When you register to use the online application you will need to provide the following personal information: postgraduate students

Title
Gender
First/given name(s) - it's important that the names you enter match exactly those appearing on your official documents such as examination certificates or passport.
Surname/family name
Date of birth
Postal address
Home telephone number
Mobile telephone number
Email address (other than a welcome letter, all information will be sent to you by email so this must be stated correctly)

You will also be asked to supply some Security details, including choosing a password and selecting a security question. These are to help identify you if you need to contact the Customer Contact Centre for advice.

Once you have completed your registration you will be allocated a username.

Don't forget to make a note of your username and password as you will need these each time you log on to your application.

When you complete your application you can update any changes to this information and you will be asked to provide some more, as follows:

Previous surname at 16th birthday
Country of birth
Whether your permanent home is in the UK
Home address (if different from postal address)
Postcode (UK only), or Country (EU/Overseas only)
Date of first entry to live in the UK (if not born in the UK)
Nationality
Area of permanent residence
Residential category

There is a request for Additional information for UK applicants only. This information is used to assist the monitoring of equal opportunities and is not released to your chosen university or college until after they have made their decision.

Occupational background
