After you have submitted an application to us, we send it to the university or college. We then send you a welcome letter to give you your Personal ID and to confirm that we have sent out your application for consideration. This letter also tells you how to access your Application Summary to follow the progress of your application. Your password for logging into our website is the same as the one you used to make your application. We send you a separate welcome letter for each application you make.
If you make more than one application through UKPASS, the universities and colleges can find out which other universities and colleges you have applied for.
All the universities and colleges to which you have applied will consider your application independently and decide whether or not to offer you a place. You may be required to attend an interview as part of the selection process. If you are offered a place, universities and colleges may ask you to meet certain conditions before they can confirm your place on the course.
Universities and colleges can take as long as they need to consider your applications. We do not impose any deadlines for decision making. If you have had your welcome letter for several weeks and you have not heard from the university or college, you can contact them to find out the current position.
Whenever a university or college records their decision through UKPASS, we inform you by email. Log in to your Application Summary to look at the decision. If you have received an offer, you must reply online through our website. After you have accepted a place you should contact the university or college direct about any matters relating to your course.
We are not involved in selecting students. Universities and colleges make their own decisions, and we are not responsible for these decisions. If you would like feedback about any decisions, please contact the university or college, not UKPASS.
