  • The Research Assessment Exercise produces quality profiles for universities by assessing research activity against agreed quality standards. The profiles can be viewed from their web-site. The most recent (2008) excercise shows that just over half of UK research activity is either 'world leading' or 'internationally excellent'.

Value for money

The current slow-down in the global economy has meant, more than ever, that students and funders expect that any programme you undertake must really improve employment prospects whilst being cost effective.

Most UK postgraduate courses can be completed within just one year. In other countries the equivalent programmes can take two years. So you will have enhanced your skills and be ready for employment more quickly, thus saving you time and money.
